Invisalign Teen is for adolescents. The system uses a series of clear, removable aligners that move teeth into place. These custom made aligners are almost invisible, so teens can straighten their teeth discreetly. Invisalign Teen treatment takes 12-18 months but can vary depending on the complexity of the case and how well the aligners are worn. We schedule regular check up appointments at our Aventura office to monitor progress and provide new sets of aligners. What’s the difference between Invisalign Teen and the adult version?
The system includes several features designed for younger patients. Blue compliance indicators fade over time, so both teens and parents can monitor if the aligners are being worn for the recommended 20-22 hours a day. Plus Invisalign Teen includes extra replacement aligners for the occasional lost or damaged set – a common occurrence in busy teenage lives.

We can then map out a customized treatment plan and even show your teenager a preview of their future smile before treatment begins.
